Accommodation

The accommodation at Mountain Gate Lodge is over two levels and boasts a total floor area of over 3600sft. Upstairs is the Master Bedroom with an Ensuite Bathroom, the main Living Room with Dining area and Kitchen. There is also a guest WC with a boot drying area.

Downstairs features two more bedrooms with an adjoining bathroom. There is also a laundry with boot and coat drying facilities. Lastly, there is a fully self contained suite available to our guests featuring a queen size bedroom, adjoining bathroom, living and dining area and laundry and kitchen facilities. This suite also has a separate entrance.

The deck area at the back of the house is ideal for entertaining on those milder spring or summer days. The roof has been designed in such a way to allow shade in the summer and take advantage of the sun’s warmth in winter. There is garaging available for one guest car and ample space to store skis and other equipment.

The house is fully heated and air conditioned, has telephone and wireless internet services. All the beds are top of the range with pillow top comfort to rest those weary bones after a hard day in the mountains.

Main Living/Dining Room

With views of Mt Begbie, wooden floors and comfy sofas enjoy the wonderful chalet style atmosphere. The huge open plan living area has ample room to accommodate all our guests in comfort. The gas fire adds to the ambiance and there is a large screen television and surround sound system. The picture windows are south facing to maximize the winter sun. The large wooden table will seat 12 people comfortably.

Kitchen

The brand new kitchen is fully functional with quality appliances including full a size refrigerator, freezer, dishwasher, microwave, stove etc. There is also a walk in pantry and a wine store.

Master Bedroom/Ensuite

The spacious Master Bedroom has a king size pillow top bed that can also be made up as two twin beds. Your comfort is our priority!

Huge closet and chest of draws and a flat screen TV. The ensuite features a full size 6ft bath, overhead shower, vanity, toilet and underfloor heating.

Guest WC

Just to the left of the entrance is the guest WC.

Bedroom No 2 (affectionately known as Howard’s Den)

Featuring another pillow top king size bed, this bedroom also has a sitting area with a sofa bed that can be used for additional guests, ample draw and closet space.

Bedroom No 3

Designed for the kids or the kids at heart. This room has four twin beds, one of which is a loft bed. It also has a sofa bed that can be used for additional bedding. There is a flat screen TV with a built in DVD player.

Bathroom

The large downstairs bathroom has a full sized bath, with overhead shower, vanity, toilet and underfloor heating.

Laundry

Full sized laundry with a top of the line washer and dryer and boot glove dryers. Ample space to dry all those damp clothes.

Self Contained Suite

This area on the lower level has a queen size bedroom with an additional twin bed, ample closet and draw space, a living/dining area with a sofa bed and a day bed in the living area. It also has an adjoining bathroom, again with heated floors, laundry facilities and a fully equipped kitchen. The suite can either be accessed by the main house or by its own separate entrance. The suite, which has a maximum occupancy of four people, can either be rented with the main house or on its own.
